Camel Burger, Anyone?

“A traditional Emirati restaurant in Dubai has added a new entree to its menu billed as a fat-free choice for carnivorous but health-conscious diners: the Camel Burger.

For 20 UAE dirhams ($5.45), the Local House restaurant offers a quarter pound camel burger, loaded with cheese and smothered in burger sauce, the Xpress weekly newspaper reported on Thursday.”

A Camel Burger doesn’t sound very appetizing, but while in Rome… I’m game to try anything once, and if I’m ever in Dubai I’ll be sure to snack on a Camel Burger.

Camel meat is very tough, I wouldn’t recommend that anyone who wears dentures try this exotic dish.

Cheese makes anything taste good, I would eat a rat burger if it was loaded with cheese and smothered in burger sauce.
