ANAHEIM: It’s win or go home for the Red Wings, as the defending Stanley Cup champions received the shoe on the other foot when the Ducks defeated them Tuesday by the score of 2-1. Game 3 was controversial due to a call that disqualified Marian Hossa’s goal that would’ve tied the game, which led to heated arguments between both teams.

“To sit here and whine about it”, Brad Stuart said to The Detroit Free Press, “that doesn’t do any good. Both teams are getting away with stuff, and that’s basically the point.”

2-1 is also the lead the Ducks have in the second round of the Western Conference playoffs, as the Wings struggled to prevent losing three games in a row to them for the first time in two years since the Conference finals when Game 4 takes place once again at the Honda Center Thursday night.
