Dude Caught Speeding Claims Trying To Dry Car

“Police in Illinois said a man pulled over for speeding told an officer he was trying to dry off his car after getting it washed.

Naperville police said Lucas Wright, 24, was pulled over at about 7 p.m. Wednesday after an officer clocked him driving about 100 mph in a 50 mph zone, the Naperville Sun reported.”

A lady can get out of paying a parking ticket by crying or batting her eyes, but gentlemen have to be a bit more inventive.

This guy takes inventiveness to a new level, I’m sure that’s an excuse the cop who pulled him over had never heard before.

I would give the guy points for creativity, but he needs to do the time for his crime. There is nothing funny about endangering your fellow drivers by racing your car 100 mph.
