First Comes Divorce, Now Comes Fatherhood (again) for Mel Gibson

LOS ANGELES: On the heels of his divorce, Mel Gibson’s going to be a dad again, as the Oscar winner and new girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva, will be expecting their first child.   Gibson, 53, has seven children with soon-to-be ex-wife Robyn, who has cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the couple ending their 28-year marriage. 

“Look, when it’s all said and done”, the actor-director said on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno Monday night, “I did a pretty good hatchet job on my marriage myself.  I’m to blame.  If you’re inclined to judge, put it here.”

The 39-year-old Grigorieva, a Russian musician, has a child with former Bond Timothy Dalton. 

Gibson first broke the news when he came on The Tonight Show.  “I guess I’m the Octo-Mel now” he jokes.
