“A Maryland groom has created an viral story storm after he interrupted his wedding last month to update his Facebook and Twitter accounts from the altar.
Dana Hanna, who works for a pet website, also posted a short video of the ceremony on the Internet. It showed him reaching into his pocket for his phone as the minister was about to pronounce the couple husband and wife.
The video has had more than 350,000 views.”

I update my Facebook account once or twice a week, and I post links to my articles on Twitter on a daily basis. But some folks update their Faceboook and Twitter accounts a gazillion times a day.
I really don’t need to know that one of my friend’s baby burped, or that my sister’s cat yawned. I don’t wish to drown in the minutia of other people’s lives, I wish my pals would only update their social networking sites when they have important news to share.
Like a wedding for example, but they should wait until the ceremony is over before they update their Web sites. Dana Hanna is a nutjob, he cares more about updating his Facebook page, than he does about making his wedding a memorable day for his bride.
I have a feeling that in a couple of months Dana will be updating his Facebook page with this message: My wife just served me with divorce papers.
