“Hangover” woke up at #1

Comedy reigns supreme once again, as The Hangover hung in at this weekend to take in the top spot with $45 million, with Disney’s Up coming in a close second with $44.3 million — taking in so far $137 million in the U. S.

Will Farrell’s big-screen remake of Land of the Lost debuts at number three with $19. 5 million, follow by Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian (4th) with $14.6 million, as Star Trek stayed in the Top 5 in fifth $8.4 million, as Capt. Kirk and the original Enterprise crew beam up $222 million so far domestically.
