“I’ve Seen Films” Internet contest started this weekend

MILAN, ITALY (PR): It has been announced Saturday that the Internet contest for the 2009 “I’ve Seen Films” festival, founded by international actor Rutger Hauer (Blade Runner, Ladyhawke, The Hitcher, Sin City, Batman Begins).   337 films from over 60 countries have been received in what it is called the largest short film online contest ever; the voting process will last until September.   To put in your pick, go to www.icfilms.org/eng/contest.php.

The chosen film among the Top 20 will be awarded the Internet Audience Award, as the panel will choose from the short film out of that group they considered the best to win the Internet Jury Award.  Besides being featured on the Net for the next several months with its online contest, the “I’ve Seen Films” festival will last for 10 days in three different venues located in downtown Milan: Centre Cultural Francais (9/24, 9/26, 10/1), THECA (end of September), and Gnomo Milano Cinema (9/29-10/3).
