Liberal Roman Politicians Drop Trousers In Protest Over Budget

“Around 50 left-wing municipal officials dropped their trousers at Rome’s city hall on Monday to call for the speedy passage of the Italian capital’s 2010 budget.
‘Alemanno has reduced us to our underwear,’ read one protester’s poster, referring to the city’s right-wing mayor Gianni Alemanno.”

President Obama has invested about a year trying to get Congress to pass his national health plan. Obama has pleaded, threatened and criticized Congress, but so far nothing has worked.
Perhaps it’s time for Obama and his posse of liberal Democrats to drop their trousers in protest against the stubbornness of the conservatives who are doing everything in their power to derail the president’s health plan initiative.
And if that doesn’t work, Democratic senators and congresspersons should moon their Republican colleagues.
