Mel Gibson returns to the “Edge of Darkness”

Mel Gibson is back on the big screen with his first starring role since 2002 in Edge of Darkness.  The Oscar winner is a cop out for blood to avenge the death of his only daughter.  From the tremendous success of 2004′s The Passion of The Christ to his years of struggle with alcohol, the messy, financial divorce of his 28-year marriage, and the birth of his eighth child, does the 54-year-old Gibson still has what it takes to be a Lethal Weapon at the box office?

So far, the actor seems to be back at the top of his game, as Edge of Darkness is released into theatres right now.
