Miracle: Corn Pops While Still On The Stalk

“A Kentucky farmer said he isolated a portion of his corn crop because kernels were popping while still on the stalk.
Hardin County Extension agent Doug Shepherd said Preston’s corn was the first he had ever seen popped on the stalk. Shepherd said the outer coat of a corn kernel can explode from excessive heat once the ears are pollinated.”

Corn kernels popping while still on the stalk is a very unusual phenomenon. It’s more likely that a UFO will land on a corn field and an extraterrestrial being will do the Macarena, than to witness corn kernels popping while still on the stalk.
My guess is that the farmer is growing corn and marijuana, and that he had already smoked a dozen joints when he saw the corn miraculously popping.
I’d suggest that the farmer keep news of corn popping while still on the stalk to himself, lest he attract the attention of the authorities.
