Old Lady Drives Wrong Way Over Bridge

“A 76-year-old woman (Ann Buerle) drove the wrong way on New York’s Tappan Zee Bridge after getting on an off-ramp by mistake, police said.

 

She told state police that she realized she was going the wrong way, but kept on going while she looked for a place to make a u-turn.

 

Buerle was given tickets for improperly entering a highway, driving in the wrong direction and reckless driving.”

 

 

This old lady is a menace to public safety, and the only thing she should be driving is a Hoveround. I’m glad she was given a ticket for reckless driving, but the officer should also have immediately confiscated her driver’s license.

 

This lady is completely clueless. Hello! You are on a freakin’ bridge, and you were looking for a place to make a u-turn? If you enter a bridge going the wrong way usually it’s a ticket straight to hell. This lady is lucky she didn’t kill herself or anybody else.

 

Buerle needs to get off an off-ramp leading straight to an old folks home. She should never get behind the wheel of a car again!
