Only Record You Will Need For Now: Jeff Beck`s ‘Emotion and Commotion’!

There is only one record I`m playing for now: Jeff Beck`s Emotion & Commotion. There is so much sonic energy on this one platter, I need not attempt to listen to any other. This one commands all my attention. My favorite track so far is Hammerhead; Jeff tears it up more here, meandering from rock to jazz/rock in a split second. Remember jazz/rock from the mid-seventies?

Lots of lush orchestra behind Jeff too. Over The Rainbow will squeeze out a tear from the corner of your eye. The last cut, Elegy for Dunkirk, was featured in the movie Atonement. I don`t know who the composer is? Lots of slow, mood pieces here with Emotion & Commotion. Serene has some fantastic flurries of echo guitar-am clueless what effects box Jeff is using here? Stupid, that`s why he`s Jeff Beck! Those are closely held trade secrets.
