MILAN, ITALY: A press release went out on Saturday about a partnership made between actor Rutger Hauer’s “I’ve Seen Films” festival and Italian network Microcinema for a co-op project of promoting and distributing the works of filmmakers seeking exposure and visibility.

Part of the deal also includes a digital showing of the short films picked by the festival at the Microcinema Digital Network of theatres, as the partnership with the European Space Agency (ESA) will include the evening awards ceremony being broadcast live in high-definition in both Italian and European theatres — giving the audience the opportunity to watch the event with the guests.
