ANAHEIM (Associated Press): The Red Wings are still alive and flying in the playoffs, as the Stanley Cup champs continue to defend their title against the Ducks Thursday night at the Honda Center by the score of 6-3, with the series now tied at two apiece.

The main highlights of the game include the Wings scoring two goals in the first two periods of the game. “For whatever reason”, said Wings coach Mike Babcock, “we seemed to get a spark from that line. I figured it was time to change things up.”

Ducks’ goalie Jonas Hiller stated that Game 4 was their worst performance ever in the playoffs, and that their opponent “outplayed” them.

“We weren’t just good enough as a team”, said Ducks coach Randy Carlye, “and goaltending is part of the team and that’s the bottom line. We weren’t good enough.”

Detroit returns home to Joe Louis for Game 5, which is this Sunday, and then it is back to Anaheim for Game 6 on Tuesday.
