Robber Brandishes Steaming Cup Of Coffee

“A thief in the German town of Hamelin robbed an amusement arcade by threatening the attendant with a cup of coffee, authorities said on Tuesday.
‘He wasn’t going to pour coffee over her, he was going to hit her with the cup,’ a spokesman for local police said.
Brandishing the steaming cup he had just ordered, the thief forced the 26-year-old to open the till and fled with cash.”

I don’t know what I would under those circumstances, it would be a no-win situation. What’s worse: Getting splattered with a cup of steaming coffee or being the wimp who hands over cash to a thief brandishing a cup of coffee.
You would think that the amusement arcade attendant could have grabbed something (anything) that was more intimidating than a cup of coffee to chase the robber away.
The cashier needs to drink some booze to gain some courage, and the bad dude needs to lighten up on his caffeine intake.
