Smallville will take over the 8pm slot against CBS’ Ghost Whisperer. Supernatural will remain on Thursdays at 9pm, with the new lead-in Vampire Diaries at 8pm, from Dawson’s Creek and Scream mastermind Kevin Williamson. Gossip Girl and One Tree Hill will remain on Monday night, which has been successful for both shows holding their own against CBS’ Monday comedy lineup and ABC’s Dancing with the Stars.
