MILAN, ITALY (PR): Over 3,000 entries were sent from 92 countries for the “I’ve Seen Films – International Short Film Festival” of 2009.

The event was founded last year by actor Rutger Hauer, whose best known for his roles in Blade Runner, Ladyhawke, The Hitcher, and Sin City.  This festival gives aspiring filmmakers the chance for exposure, but also the opportunity to make films that meaning and a sense of purpose.  Not only is Hauer one of the judges this year, but so are directors Ridley Scott and Robert Rodriguez.

The submission was closed almost four weeks ago on May 7.

The “I’ve Seen Films” event will be shown online — along with a contest (also online) that will last for 10 days from late September into October at the Centre Cultural Francais (9/24, 9/26, 10/1), THECA (end of September), and the Gnomo Milano Cinema (9/29-10/3) in downtown Milean.
