Sean Jones: Studio Bound!

TORONTO (Sasha Stoltz Publicity, April 23-25, 2010): Juno-winning, WIDEawake Entertainment Group recording artist Sean Jones is heading back to the studio to record new material for his upcoming album. Sean describes his new sound as Pop Rock with Soul. Heavy distortion and soaring guitar lines juxtaposed over killer grooves and soulful melodies.

Sean will be collaborating with music producer, Stuart Zender. Zender, a founding member of Jamiroquai, has worked with the likes of Lauryn Hill, D’Angelo, Mica Paris and Omar to name a few. A personal highlight for the producer was the opportunity to play and record with the legendary Stevie Wonder.

WIDEawake Entertainment Week presents Sean Jones at Canadian Music Week

TORONTO, ON (Sasha Stoltz Publicity): Recording singer-songwriter Sean Jones will be performing songs from his upcoming album at Canadian Music Week on Saturday March 13.  The Canadian Music Week is the leading annual entertainment event that is dedicated to the expression and growth of Canada`s music, media, and entertainment industries.

The doors at Czehoski`s (678 Queen St. West) will open at 8:30pm with a $10 cover fee charge; Jones` performance starts at 12M.

Sean Jones performs at Sway Presents Black History Month

Recording artist Sean Jones will be  singing at the WIDEawake LIBERTY STUDIOS inside the Liberty Market Building (171 East Liberty Street, Suite 310, Toronto, ON) on February 25 at 6pm.  There’ll be a $20 cover fee charge, which includes your subscription to Sway.

Join Sean Jones along with Divine Brown, Saidah Baba Talibah, Kim Davis, Dan Hill and DJ Frank Dukes & Hero for a night of music and performances to celebrate Black History Month and raise funds for Haiti.

Sean Jones plays at Canadian jazz festival

TORONTO (Sasha Stoltz Publicity): Sean Jones will be performing live at the 21st annual Beaches Jazz Festival this Friday evening, where he’ll be playing the main stage.

The show will start at 6pm, and is located on Woodbine Park (Lakeshore Blvd. E and Coxwell Ave.) with a free cover charge.

Sean Jones plays new song at Supermarket

CANADA (Sasha Stoltz Publicity): A press release has stated a live performance of soulful singer-songwriter Sean Jones at the Supermarket (268 Augusta Avenue) in Toronto a week from Thursday (June 11) at 9pm, where the audience will get a chance to hear the WIDEawake Entertainment Group artist perform his new single, “Take Your Clothes Off”.

Jones will also be performing with Code Revival and Matt Black, as proceeds from the $5 door cover fee will go to Eva’s Initiatives, an organization Jones is involved as mentor to homeless and at-risk teens and young adults between the ages of 16-24.
